CARBON FOOTPRINT STUDIES
Rigorous Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse-gas accounting supported by practical reduction strategies and long-term decarbonisation planning.

Our Carbon Footprint Studies help organisations understand the greenhouse-gas emissions associated with their facilities, operations, products, supply chains, and business activities. We provide transparent and methodical assessments designed to establish reliable emission baselines and support credible climate-related decision-making.
The process begins by defining the organisational and operational boundaries of the study. We then collect and evaluate relevant information relating to fuel use, purchased electricity, transport, business travel, waste, purchased materials, logistics, employee commuting, and other emission-generating activities.
Emissions are categorised across Scope 1, Scope 2, and, where required, Scope 3 sources. Scope 1 covers direct emissions generated by assets owned or controlled by the organisation. Scope 2 covers indirect emissions associated with purchased electricity, heating, or cooling. Scope 3 addresses wider value-chain emissions, which may include suppliers, transportation, product use, waste treatment, and other indirect activities.
Our studies are designed to produce more than a single headline figure. We identify the organisation’s most significant emission sources, analyse the factors driving them, and highlight areas in which data quality or internal reporting systems can be improved.
Based on the results, we develop practical reduction opportunities and decarbonisation roadmaps. These may include energy-efficiency measures, renewable-energy procurement, fleet improvements, process optimisation, waste reduction, material substitution, supplier engagement, and improved monitoring practices.
Recommendations are prioritised according to their potential impact, feasibility, cost, implementation period, and relevance to the organisation’s activities. This allows clients to move from carbon measurement toward measurable and realistic emission reduction.
Our reporting provides a clear and defensible foundation for internal sustainability planning, environmental reporting, stakeholder communication, client requirements, investment decisions, and future carbon-management programmes.
