CARBON FOOTPRINT STUDY
A detailed greenhouse-gas inventory and reduction strategy developed to help an industrial operator understand emissions and plan measurable improvements.

AZGREEN completed a detailed carbon-footprint study for an industrial facility seeking to strengthen its environmental performance and establish a clear understanding of the greenhouse-gas emissions connected to its operations.
The project began with the definition of organisational and operational boundaries. Relevant data was collected across energy consumption, fuel use, company vehicles, purchased electricity, waste generation, transportation, and other emission-producing activities associated with the facility.
Emissions were organised across Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 categories. Direct emissions from controlled sources were assessed alongside indirect emissions associated with purchased energy and selected value-chain activities. Data quality, calculation assumptions, emission factors, and information gaps were documented to ensure that the results were transparent and suitable for future comparison.
The assessment identified the facility’s most significant emission sources and highlighted the operational activities contributing most strongly to the organisation’s overall footprint. This allowed reduction opportunities to be focused on areas with the greatest potential environmental benefit.
AZGREEN developed a practical decarbonisation roadmap covering energy efficiency, renewable-energy opportunities, fuel management, waste reduction, transportation improvements, data collection, and internal monitoring. Recommendations were prioritised according to their potential impact, technical feasibility, implementation period, and relevance to the client’s operations.
The final study provided the organisation with a credible emissions baseline and a structured foundation for future carbon reporting, sustainability planning, and measurable greenhouse-gas reduction.
